New York Subway System app good for
MTA this app is great and will save a lot of trees but* you need to add a feature that alerts you whats going on with the buses and trains! Updates on everything just like the e-mails you send. It would be great to be on the Bx12 SBS and find out the 4 train isnt running normally than to go and waste my time and a ride on my metrocard !!. But good app though.
If you zoom all the way out on this map it gets too small for you to zoom back in and is totally useless. Just dont be stupid like me and do that; you have to re-download it if you do. Otherwise a great map of the subway.
I love this app. Its simple and you can always open the app in the subway whether you receive reception or not.
Some bad moments
Not so bad but not good at all. No better experience. Just a tiny map with ads.
Good interface. But useless since map is not up to date. There have been significant changes to routes. Furthermore this app was released after the changes took effect. No excuse for outdated information.
I share the same issue as everyone else--this map is so outdated and therefore should be improved or removed! Shame on you!
This map is over 5 years old, and there are no trip planning features or ways to see service changes. Just download a PDF of the map from the MTA website.
Used to work, great as a reminder to check on phone rather than standing looking over someones head on the map in the subway car, but its been super buggy and failing, not opening. Fix it!
